Last year flew by like lightning.
One minute it was New Year, then it was March, then I was attending an orientation in April for a new contract. In May I was in Canada.
I was expecting my family to visit in June and was planning for it; they did not get a visa so they couldn’t visit.
In July I visited Pittsburgh; August celebrated our anniversary in Kelly’s Island; September visited Sweden, and October attended a conference in Texas.
Traveled to Africa in November & boom! -The year was over!
I had great goals all lined up, but was too busy to focus on them.
So, I’ve decided my new year goals for 2017 is to follow through with the goals I made for 2016.
I’m going to revisit each goal and focus on it.
The book I planned to write will not be written in four months, but in one year. My health goals will be focused.
The relationships I was supposed to build will be planned for and worked on.
Nowadays, we are too busy, overwhelmed and are running through life like it’s a race.
This isn’t healthy for our bodies or our mind.
I’ve made a decision that in the coming year, I will slow down and smell the roses. (Actually, there’s too much snow at the moment, so I’ll smell the spices I cook with)
I plan to begin every day with prayer and meditation and not add too much on my plate for the day.
I plan to perfect all the new skills I learned in 2016.
